Wordle #1,964 hints and answer for Wednesday, November 4, 2026

Edited by Tracy Bennett · 5 letters · Spoiler-free until you choose otherwise

Today's Wordle is a taste and a temperament: it describes food rich with the flavor of nuts, and a person acting a little wild or silly. The board is stingy with vowels - there is only one - and one consonant does double duty in the middle, which is where most guesses will stall. Work down the hint ladder as far as you need, then check the answer box at the bottom.

Hints, in order

Hint 0 of 5

Hint 1 of 5

Think flavor first: a sauce, a cheese or a snack can taste like this when nuts are the main event - and a friend who is acting a little unhinged gets the same label.

Hint 2 of 5

There is exactly one vowel: U, sitting in second place. The other four slots are consonants, and one of them repeats.

Hint 3 of 5

It is an adjective. The repeated letter is T, and the two Ts sit side by side in third and fourth place.

Hint 4 of 5

It starts with N.

Hint 5 of 5

It ends with Y, and the first four letters are NUTT.

The answer

This is the full solution to Wordle #1,964. Only tap if you are ready.

N
U
T
T
Y
NUTTY

NUTTY: tasting like nuts or full of nuts - and, informally, silly or eccentric. The trap is the doubled T behind a single U: most solvers find the U early, then burn guesses hunting for a second vowel that never comes.
