Sudoku No. 1 - Sunday, November 1, 2026
This one is ours: Clue Cache makes its own Sudoku, generated fresh every morning by our own program, seeded by the date so the whole world gets the same grid. A puzzle only publishes after an exact solver proves it has exactly one solution. Play it right here - no app, no account, nothing to install.
Today's grid
Tap a square, then tap a number below (or type it) to fill it in. The bold numbers are the givens - they belong to the puzzle and cannot change. Check your answers whenever you like: wrong cells get marked, and nothing is ever revealed.
How to play
Fill the grid so every row, every column and every 3x3 box holds the numbers 1 to 9 exactly once. A good way in: pick a number and scan a row, column or box for the one square it can still fit, place it, and repeat. Medium puzzles like today's give up their first numbers to scans like that; the middle of the grid is where the real deducing happens.
Difficulty note: we rate by givens and by how the grid solves. Today's 32 givens is our medium band - enough information to start in several places, few enough that you will have to hold two or three possibilities in mind at once in the middle game.
